Yes for some people but a no for me. For me, buying flowers for your girlf is like wasting money (unless those in pot planting one yea). I won't give the chance for florist to earn that money. Yea last time I do desperately hope that my boy will send me 99 roses and feels that aww this is very romantic. No doubt it's very gam dong when you receive flowers but what can you do with those flowers? I prefer something practical and can use one. Flowers will eventually dry and dies. Die jor what to do with those flowers? Throw it lor what else. I don't want my love to be end like those flowers as well. And Valentine's day doesn't mean that guy have to spend a lot of money to celebrate with his girlf. I don't need him to spend a few hundreds for my present and few hundreds for a dinner. Unless he is wealthy I don't mind then. Poor also can celebrate Valentine's day one ma. He/she can just handmade a creative present for example sew a pillow case with your name and his/her name with some design on it for him/her or cook a nice dinner for him/her as well.
